OUR COMMITMENT
Capitalizing on Asia-Pacific’s continuing growth and opportunities
through development of global productions and distribution
with local and international partners, while integrating Hollywood’s
established methods, techniques, and abundance of content.

HSHP is one of Asia-Pacific’s leading Premier Media Investment & Production Groups for globally-produced Entertainment Properties including: Films, Television Series, Gaming, Music, Publications, and Real Estate by integrating both Asia and America’s Technological & Creative Industries.
HSHP serves as a vertically-integrated global platform for Entertainment Properties with main focuses in the two largest industry markets: America & Asian (with focuses in: North America, China, Australia, India, Singapore, Canada, Korea, and Hong Kong); bridging expertise, creative properties and techniques to ever-growing markets.

OBJECTIVES
HSHP’s Role:
- Identify, Select, and Invest in Entertainment Intellectual Properties,
- Utilize production teams (either proprietary-controlled in-house or partnering studios),
- Consistently deliver exceptional financial returns and high-quality products to its investors and public, and
- Monitor investments and carefully exercise influence on the ground to ensure that interests remain in tandem with investors and expectations.

RECIPE FOR A SUCCESSFUL FILM
- PACKAGING TALENT (cast and crew): Bringing on Team Members at preferential rates instead of “rack rates”
- A GOOD STORY: Choosing Commercially-Viable scripts suitable for accepting audiences in key territories.
- INTEGRATED and PROPER: Production Management and Controlled-budgeting
- DISTRIBUTION: Securing distribution deals either before or during production begins.
- TIMING: Analyzing and Capitalizing on marketplace acceptance and trends with the proper A&P strategy.

U.S. & Asia Cross-border Strategy Boils Down to ONE PHILOSOPHY:
CO-PRODUCTIONS = GLOBAL PROFITS
Co-Productions open the market to global distributions, thus global profits.
In order to take advantage of these opportunities, we must focus on the:
- Beneficial Co-production Treaties between countries that offer the most potential to combine multiple market’s cultures, thus being able to take advantage of immediately risk-mitigating government & cultural program offsets & rebates,
- International Marketplace Acceptance and the Commercial-Viability of each film we pick,
- Utilization of the best of both worlds’ strengths:
“Hollywood” is the birth-place of movies and is still the world’s #1 “center “ for film production, technology, visual effects, editing and marketing.
Asia market, because of its large population, booming economy and hunger for entertainment content; slated to become the world’s most lucrative film market by 2020.

KEY TO SUCCESS
HSHP applies the “Know-How” and Experience of:
International Global Distribution Markets to maximize returns on Co-Productions of both:
- Niche “micro-budget” movies (budgets < $20M),
- Large movies (budgets $40M – $100M).
These (2) categories will make up 70-80% of HSHP Film Investments.
Regardless where the film is shot geographically (China, Hollywood, Europe, Australia, or elsewhere), HSHP’s preferred choice is to produce via a Co-Production vehicle because of the increased benefits. By including (1-2) English-Speaking, Asian supporting cast members, or being shot on location (i.e: China, Australia, etc.) and with local Asian “elements”, productions are able to take advantage of expanded distribution markets, government support programs, and production offsets (IE: Australia-China co-production treaty offers a producer’s offset of up to 40%).
HSHP will utilize our long-standing Asian Production Partnerships & our established Distribution Networks throughout Asia (focuses in China, Hong Kong, Korea, India) ranging from the largest studios to privately-owned theatres and media groups for distribution and sales. Being able to take advantage of these relationships provides HSHP the flexibility to structure deals for pre-sale, distribution, and co-productions even before a single scene is ever shot. Getting the film sold is the real KEY to consistently delivering SUCCESSFUL RETURNS and navigating the nuances of the industry.
